Astrakhan enterprise "Charoit" was establish in 1992.
The "Charoit" is ornamental arts and crafts company, which is developing both in the antique style and at the same time in modern and fashionable trends of decoration and design.
The "Charoit" is the only company in Russia presenting homecraft based on artistic theme of the most Russian river Volga and the ancient city Astrakhan, which is situated in its Delta, on the border line of Europe and Asia.

Products of "Charoit" company bacame a "carte-de-visite" of Astrakhan city. These handiworks were presented to different famous people like: The Russian Orthodox patriarch of Moscow and the whole Russia Alexey II, Ex-President of the Russian Federation Mr. Eltsyn, descendants of Romanov Tsar's family, Princess of Thailand, Mayor of Florida, Presidents of CIS and non-CIS countries, Oil Company OJSC "Lukoil" and it's president.

When visiting Astrakhan city in May this year the actual president of the Russian Federation Mr.Putin was gifted a "Charoit" souvenir by the representatives of Caspian Sea Flotilla.

The "Charoit" regular participation in exhibitions organization and presentations of Astrakhan region were rewarded with Diplomas and grateful letters from the Astrakhan Region authorities.
